Making Way

The Oden is making wicked progress in opening up the bay and making way for the USS Paul Buck Fuel Tanker and The American Tern Supply Vessel to dock at the Ice Pier.

Back and forth in the channel, the Oden breaks up the ice.

Sea ice cottage cheese in the making.

The Oden sure looks small out there...all alone.

Chunky ice cubes...cocktail anyone?

The Oden and McMurdo.

A sunny, cloudless view of Hut Point from
Dorm 203B and SO MUCH open water in the bay.

Sun, Ice, Water, Wind.

BLING!

Floating ice chunks...makes me think of what it must
have looked like when the Titanic hit that iceberg.

A lovely panoramic of the icey waters around Hut Point.

A lone floating blue ice chunk.
