Crack Went the Ice Pier

Just a week or so after finishing Vessel Evolution, the Ice Pier cracked right down the middle. It's rather difficult to tell from the photo, but if you look at that big dirt line in the middle of the pier - that is the crack.









Last I heard, the higher-ups were still deciding what to do: call the Oden (The Ice Breaker) back and have it tow the Ice Pier out and away so that a new one could be built, or band-aid the existing one. As it is right now, the Ice Pier is creeping slowly out into the bay.

Thankfully, this didn't happen a week earlier or Vessel Evolution might not have gone so well.
