"Let's Pretend We're in Antarctica"

My friend Wobin sent me this awesome song, "Wraith Pined to the Mist" by the band Of Montreal (click on the photo to listen to the song and watch the video on youtube).



And, the Z's sent me a children's book that Mrs. Z wrote, inspired by her time in Antarctica, I highly recommend it for kids and adults alike - you can get it here.



In other news, I got my travel itinerary and tickets! No turning back now! I leave Denver on September 29. I'll have orientation in Denver on the 28th and 29th of September and then further orientation and am issued my ECW (Extreme Cold Weather) gear in New Zealand. Whew...lots to do and only 38 days to get it all done!
