I've been saying a mental goodbye to much in my life these past few weeks. This past Saturday was full of goodbyes at the Bon Voyage party thrown in my honor by QSB and HK.
It felt like high school graduation again...going off in to the great unknown, uncertain exactly what the future will hold for me. But on a deeper level, I realized that saying goodbye is difficult and even awkward.
In light of that discomfort, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the presence of such brilliant and wonderful people in my life. I'll miss you all. Goodbye...goodbye.
