I'm being offered a different position than I was originally 'hired' (as an Alternate) for, which means I will be deploying for a year instead of six months.
There are a few more PQ (Physical Qualification) requirements that I will need to pass since my deployment will be longer, and more paperwork to fill out, but THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING!
As you might imagine, my brain is doing cartwheels and any number of other acrobatics, but as I know more, I will most definitely share.
For now, I have permagrin and continue to do the super secrect stealth dance of ICE.
